Education: I graduated from Dawson County High School in Glendive, Montana in 1983 and decided to be a Legal Secretary. After completing my Legal Secretary Associates of Applied Science Degree, I found that I would take over a $2.50 paycut from Buttreys to work for a lawyer. I then decided to go on to become a teacher. (What a pay increase- hee hee) I graduated from Western Montana of the University of Montana with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 1989. I got my first teaching job in Sidney, Montana in 1990. I taught first grade for two years, got married, and went to teach in Poplar, Montana while commuting from the farm. I worked in Poplar teaching first and second grade until 5 years ago when I moved to Culbertson. I have been teaching third grade and I am loving it.
Personal: I married Patrick Bidegaray in 1991 and lived out in the country 45 miles west of Culbertson. We have three wonderful children. Colton (16), Landon (14), and Alexi (11). We moved to Culbertson 5 years ago when Patrick quit farming. He works as a Directional Driller for Schlumberger which is based out of Williston, ND.
